Paris Fashion Week kicked off with an image I won't soon forget—Jonathan Anderson transformed the Jardin des Tuileries into a lily pond for his Claude Monet-inspired fall collection at Dior. As my whirlwind trip comes to a close, there are many equally memorable moments to look back on, from Matthieu Blazy's reinvention of '20s drop-waisted silhouettes at Chanel to Haider Ackermann's slick '90s tribute at Tom Ford. For those following the industry's ever-present game of designer musical chairs, Pieter Mulier's Alaïa send-off was another benchmark (our editors can't wait to see what he does in his new post at Versace come the summer). And Anthony Vaccarello's Saint Laurent show was a tuxedo-filled homage to the 60th anniversary of Le Smoking (and of Vaccarello's own decade at the house).
