| Senior Fashion Market Editor |
As the point-person for fashion market research and trendspotting at ELLE, I'm forever on a quest to find the best in fashion and accessories. This month, I'm excited to wear floral-print chiffon, stroll around New York City in Mary Janes, and fill my apartment with seasonal flowers. Spring fever has kicked in! The scent of the city right now is unlike any other time: a mix of blooming flowers, sun-drenched asphalt, and a cool breeze that carries a subtle whiff of water, depending on how close you live to one of the rivers. The mood shifts, everyone is out and about, restaurants are bustling—hope and excitement is in the air. And with that comes a desire to shop. With that in mind, here are the top five items that I have either just purchased or are currently sitting at the top of my list. Spoiler alert: some apply to my new life stage—I'm pregnant! Whether or not you're on a similar journey, shop my picks here. |

Alaïa Mesh Mary Jane Ballerina Flats |
Mary Janes are the perfect transitional shoe for spring. Brands ranging from Le Monde Beryl to Prada have options for the season—some flat and some heeled. This black mesh pair by Alaïa feels unique thanks to the see-through mesh, ideal for showing off a red lacquered pedicure. |

| Dries van Noten One-Shoulder Open-Back Layered Floral-Print Chiffon Midi Dress |
For spring/summer 2023, Dries Van Noten presented an array of clashing florals that I have not stopped thinking about since. This is the kind of dress that goes from day to night with the simple addition of earrings, heels, and a swipe of lipstick. |

I feel lucky that my first pregnancy is happening during a time where there are seemingly infinite options of non-alcoholic spirits, cocktails, and wine. I recently tried Le Rose by French Bloom—a women-led company co-founded by model Constance Jablonski and Maggie Frerejean-Taittinger—and immediately stocked up for the season. |

| Paul Arnhold Glass Rose Vase with White/Coral Spots |
Having flowers in my apartment all year round brings me so much joy, especially while working from home three days a week. In the spring, I look forward to poppy season in particular. I have been searching high and low for a new vase and found it in Paul Arnhold's pieces, all made in Brooklyn. I especially like this one as I am crazy about pink, but love the spots of white and coral. |

Levi's 501® Original Fit Women's Jeans |
Levi's iconic 501 silhouette is celebrating its 150th anniversary this year. The classic style has been my go-to for years, from the light wash to the deepest blue. Due to my growing baby bump, I recently sized up. The button fly allows me to release pressure off my waist when I need to. Also, I can fold over the waistband as a styling trick, or tie a button to the button holes with ribbons or rubber bands, all without having to sacrifice my preferred pair of jeans. | | |
