The former competitive dancer in me is jumping with glee, because jazz shoes are becoming a mainstay among the biggest shoe trends of the year. If you aren’t familiar, these lace-up shoes are made with the same soft, supple leather you might find in a ballet flat—but oh, are they so much cooler. More masculine than their pretty counterpart, these are set to be the It shoe of the moment; I plan to buy myself a pair in lieu of sneakers for times when I want an unexpected touch of polish (and how chic would they look with shorts for summer?!).
