We have found the bag of summer: Affordable, practical, adorable, and celeb-beloved, the Kate Spade Duo is an immediate yes. Speaking of which, I’ve never said “yes” faster than I did when ELLE beauty director Kathleen Hou pitched me a story about the rise of Generation X beauty. As a card-carrying member of Gen X (it’s a Columbia House Record Club badge), it’s exciting to see products made just for us—but more than that, to see an age-inclusive cultural moment that feels long overdue.
